The Tempelhof Lab is a nationwide pilot project. Producing a series of concerts that were “more than sustainable” was made possible by the investment of time and money by all partners, the cooperation of a project team knowledgeable about event planning as well as Cradle to Cradle principles and design concepts, and, last but not least, the commitment and support of Die \u00c4rzte and Die Toten Hosen. Given the level of knowledge and investment by a constellation of stakeholders, the project is not comparable to other large events. <\/p>\n

But the results show that many products and processes are already available today to make events as climate- and resource-positive as possible. The project also illustrates how scaling up these measures often still fails – and that there is a great need for political action<\/a> to make the quality benchmark tested and set by the project the standard in the event industry. The transformation of our society toward ecological, economic and social added value for all cannot succeed without art and culture.<\/p>\n

Regardless of the urgent need for political change, there are still relatively easy<\/a> ways to optimize events toward a sustainable circular economy or according to Cradle to Cradle criteria. Every cultural event that moves in this direction will help to break down barriers.<\/p><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

They demonstrate what is already possible today and provide positive examples. This encourages many more people to actively shape, follow and participate than pure theory. <\/p>\n

The guide book is a joint project of the four initiating partners Cradle to Cradle NGO, KKT GmbH – Kikis kleiner Tourneeservice, Loft Concerts GmbH, Side by Side Eventsupport GmbH and the bands Die \u00c4rzte and Die Toden Hosen.
